800 grams beef
2 tablespoons mint leaves
2 tablespoons basil
1 cup of vegetable stock
3 tablespoons oil
2 garlic cloves
salt and black pepper to taste
1 onion
1 lemongrass stem
1 red chilli

Makes 4 servings


1. Mix 2 spoons of sunflower oil, the vegetable stock, salt, and black pepper to prepare the marinade. Blend lemongrass and chilly in the food processor and combine with the marinade. Soak meat for 30 minutes.

2. Heat 1 spoon of sunflower oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic cloves and sliced onion. Wait for 2 3 minutes and add beef. Cook on both sides until brown. Sprinkle with basil and mint leaves and serve hot.
