Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaves
500 grams ground beef
fresh parsley
2 garlic cloves
1 onion
1 cup of bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
½ teaspoon cumin
8 strips of bacon
Makes 4 servings
Directions
1. In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, egg, ground beef, sliced onion, and minced garlic. Use the mixer to blend well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
2. Use a muffin tin and fill the holes with the meatloaves mix. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Wrap a slice of bacon around each hole. Cook for 30 – 40 minutes or until ready.
3. Leave to cool for 20 minutes and remove from the muffin tin. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with green salad.
