6 pork loin or rib chops
4 tablespoons sugar
1 cup of apple juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons butter


1 cup of apple, chopped
teaspoon vanilla
1 cup of ground almonds
cup of chopped pecans
grated lemon peel
cup of orange juice

Makes 6 servings


1. Mix the apple, pecans, almonds, orange juice, lemon peel, and vanilla in a bowl. Cut into the side of each chop to make pockets and put the stuffing inside. Heat the oven to 180 C and bake for 30 35 minutes.

2. Prepare the glaze. Mix the cornstarch and sugar and add the apple juice. Bring to boil and stir frequently. Remove from heat when the sauce thickens and add butter. Pour the sauce over the pork chops and bake for 25 30 minutes or until done.
